This was carved in 2017 from a rotting piece of wallnut I found in the forest high above Le Vigan where Liz and we live, create and exhibit.
This naturally beautiful piece of Huon Pine (up to 5000 years old) off-cut from a Tasmanian furniture craftsman (with the legal right to recover left over native forest pieces) was perfect to express the spiritual within me.
